TECHNART 2025

The International Conference on Analytical Techniques for Heritage Studies and Conservation

May 9-12, 2025

Perugia, Italy

CNR ISPC, in collaboration with CNR SCITEC, the University of Perugia, and the Italian national node of E-RIHS (European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science), is co-organizing TECHNART, the international conference dedicated to heritage science.

Now in its ninth edition, TECHNART has previously been hosted in major cultural cities across Europe, including Lisbon, Athens, Berlin, Amsterdam, Catania, Bilbao, and Bruges. In 2025, it will take place in Perugia, from May 9 to 12.

Perugia, an ancient Etruscan city and home to artists who shaped classical and modern art such as Perugino, Pinturicchio, and Gerardo Dottori, is a renowned university hub with a long academic tradition. It is also the birthplace of MOLAB, the mobile laboratory of the European E-RIHS infrastructure, making it the ideal setting for an event of such significance in heritage science.

With a forward-thinking approach to art, archaeology, and cultural heritage conservation, TECHNART 2025 is expected to welcome hundreds of participants from around the world. This event offers professionals a unique opportunity to present and share their research, leveraging innovative multi- and interdisciplinary methodologies.
